Care Delivery

ICON Hospital utilizes a physician driven interdisciplinary team approach to deliver comprehensive and personalized care to each patient. The team, under the direction of the attending physician, consists of specially trained Case Managers, ALCS Certified Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Registered Dieticians, Certified Wound Care Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists.

Patients are seen and examined by a physician daily and have access to the services of the following physician specialists: Pulmonologists, Cardiologists, Infectious Disease, General Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Neurologists, Nephrologists, Podiatrists and Psychiatrists.

It is the belief of the clinical care team at ICON Hospital that families are integral members of the care team and an important component to a patient's recovery. Each patient is assigned to a Case Manager who works directly with the family, the physicians, and the interdisciplinary team members to assure that communication is effective, care is coordinated, and patient and family goals are met.
